Chapter 3

Adni FF

Adni FF, IPK3, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Entrapment, Advay Singh Raizada, Chandini Yash Narayan Vashisht.

Advay stood outside the Haveli. It had been sixteen years, since he last walked into the courtyard of his home. It looked the same, nothing seemed to have changed, only that everything had changed. He was a stranger in his home.

He walked up the steps leading to the front door as memories of his childhood, of his parents and his Micku flashed before his eyes. Memories of him chasing Chandini around the house, memories of happy times came flooding back before his eyes. He blinked his tears away. He was going to have to keep his emotions under control, if he wanted to succeed at this game.

The door was open and he took the liberty of stepping into his house. He felt a pang in his heart, like as though someone had twisted a knife through his gut, the moment he stepped into the house. It felt strange, bereft of its soul, without his parents. He looked around, voices echoed in his head, of his parents laughing, his father chanting the gayatri, his mother calling his name…Dev, his brother crying, of Chandini giggling while he tickled her death. Voices of his past had come back to haunt him, tears glistened in his eyes, he had lost them all. Every one of them was gone, had left him behind…. Alone.

“Kaun …Who is that?’

He let out a sigh at the sound of her sweet voice. At least she was here, at least that hadn’t changed. He still had her. He blinked his tears away.

Chandini felt like she had been struck by lightning the moment she realised it was him…. standing at her doorstep. Why was he here?

“Tum.’

“Aap.’ He hissed as he took a step closer to her.

“A… Aap,’ she stammered, fear gripping her heart “Aap yahan’

Advay grinned to himself, her fear was his undoing. Her fear for him, made her irresistible.

He stepped forward and swept the fold of her saree to one side with his left hand and placed his hand around her waist, drawing her closer to him.

Chandini shivered as she scanned the room. Her heart took off on a hundred-mile jog, the moment she felt his warm rugged hand around her smooth waist, from under the fold of her saree.

Why couldn’t he just put his hand around the exposed side of her waist,’ she wondered. She shook her head, there was a stranger holding her in his arms, in her house and instead of pushing him away, she was wondering about which side of her waist he chose to touch. What was wrong with her?

“I am here to see your mother,’ He said, raking his fingers tenderly through her hair, stroking them, admiring them, feeling her silky tresses between his fingers, with a glint of possessive pride shining in his eyes. She jumped the moment he spoke.

“W… Why?’ She stammered.

“Because’ He swept her hair, away from her face. “I…’

“Indrani Vashisht’

They jolted out of the trance at the commotion coming from the lounge. Chandini pushed him and sprinted into the lounge to investigate.

“Enough …. Lower your tone,’ Indrani hissed at the man yelling at her.

Chandini looked at her mother, the terror that she was. The six feet hulk stumbled and took a step back, at the darkness he saw in Indrani’s eyes. Chandini held her head high and stood behind her mother. No one messed with her mother and she was proud of her Maa.

“I need more time Thakur,’ Indrani finally said, as she cooled herself down. “And always remember to address me as Mahatani or Mahant Patni.’

She continued to glare at the huge trembling man standing in front of her.

“Dekhiye’ He stammered, “Mahatani ji …’

Indrani smiled to herself, she had the power to bring men twice her size to their knees.

“It’s been two years now and you have not returned my money.’

The six-foot goon lowered his voice and his head.

Advay stood at the entrance and watched the drama enfold. Rage coursed through his veins the moment his gaze fell upon Indrani. She looked just like how she had, sixteen years ago. Polished, posh yet poisonous.

Advay took a few deep breaths, he was going to have to play this game with a calm head. One wrong move and Indrani would shred him to bits. He watched the hulk bow his head before Indrani. A confident cunning smirk kissed Advay’s lips.

Indrani had yet to meet Advay Singh Raizada.

The goons left whispering to themselves as Advay walked into the lounge. Indrani had managed to drive a hard bargain once again.

Indrani turned around to leave when she caught Advay walking into the lounge.

“Kaun?’ She asked as she turned around to look at him. Chandini stood frozen to her spot.

“Maa… Ma.. ye..’ Chandini trembled. Not sure what to tell her mother.

“Hello Mrs Vashisht,’ Advay smiled as he glanced at a trembling Chandini, “I am Advay Singh Raizada.’

He continued to watch Chandini as her face fell and she lowered her gaze, biting into her lower lip.

Why’ He asked himself, “What had upset her? Was she expecting him to be someone else?

“Jee Namaste’ Indrani folded her hand “What can I do for you?’

“I am here from the Archaeological Survey of India.’

Advay unfolded the letter in his hand and walked up to Indrani, not once taking his eyes off her. After all she was the murderer of his mother.

“Oh, I see.’

She sat down on her sofa and motioned Advay to sit.

Advay took a seat opposite her and watched a trembling Chandini from head to toe, drinking in, her sublime beauty. She was a stark opposite to Indrani.

Petite, poised… Perfect!

“So, Mr Raizada.’

“Please call me Advay,’ He forced a smile.

“Advay,’ Indrani smiled back, “You are here to survey the temple.’

“Yes, Mrs Vashisht. My team and I, are here to survey and document this temple, so that we can include it on the list of the world heritage sites.’

“Oh, So, do you work for the government of India?’ Indrani enquired, trying to gain as much information as she could.

“No Mrs Vashisht, I don’t work for anyone. I am an independent researcher collaborating with the University of Cambridge, The United Nations and the Government of India.’

He continued to gaze at Chandini who hadn’t moved from her spot from behind the sofa, Indrani was perched upon, but was not willing to look at him anymore. “Why?

“We are here to formally document the temple.’ He continued “so that it receives a world-wide recognition and rakes in tourism in this area. I am a professor of mathematics and I am here to document the mechanics of the temple and its relation to the cosmos. Apparently, the door only opens on a certain day, once in sixteen years I have been told.’ He chuckled, trying to sound like a snobbish westerner mocking at the temple.

“Are you making fun of our heritage Mr Raizada … Advay.’

Indrani raised her brow.

“No Mrs Vashisht. I am a scientist and I do not believe in hearsay. I will believe in it, when I witness it, and when I can prove the science behind it.’ Advay tried to sound convincing “I am an Indian too, but religion has to be backed by science in my opinion.’

Indrani looked him from head to toe, impressed with his answers and his confidence. He wore an air of authority, just like her, and that was a rare find in a man. She smiled to herself.

“You have a beautiful house here Mrs Vashisht,’ Advay finally sighed as he looked around the lounge, and finally rested his gaze on Chandini assessing her again from head to toe.

“The sights this house has on offer are….,’ He sighed, gazing at Chandini, “Breath taking.’ Chandini stood with her head held low, not willing to look him in the eye anymore.

Advay smiled at Indrani, he knew flattery always worked with her.

“Chandini why don’t you fetch a cup of tea for Advay?’ Indrani ordered while she continued to admire Advay.

Advay flinched, shifting in his seat, not impressed at the tone Indrani had used to bark orders at his Chandini. He had not given anyone the right to throw orders at his Chandini.

“Oh, thanks,’ Indrani smiled with pride, “Actually it is a heritage building passed on to the next Mahant in line.’

“Hmm,’ He rested his gaze upon Indrani “I have a proposition for you Mrs Vashisht.’

Indrani raised her brow.

“I am new to this area, and am currently looking for a place to live.’

Indrani smiled, she knew what he had on his mind.

“You see I am from England, and love historic buildings. In fact, the house I own is a 15th century historic manor house. Would you be interested in renting me a place till I finish my work here?’

Indrani shook her head, “No Advay, this is a house not a hotel. Besides we have to think about society.’

“Oh, come on Mrs Vashisht’ He smirked at her “I’ll make a handsome offer, I am at the Sheraton spending about twenty thousand rupees per night. I’ll tell you what, I’ll pay you double the money. Forty thousand per night for the next three months.’

Indrani leaned back in her sofa, this was a very good offer. She was hard on cash; any inflow of wealth was a welcome right now.

“I’ll pay you the money upfront.’

Advay continued with his negotiation. He knew his offer was irresistible, especially for a greedy woman like Indrani.

“I won’t be in your way. I’ll take one of the rooms upstairs over-looking the temple, and I have Murli, he is a staff…. more of a family who will attend to my needs. So, you won’t have to worry about me’.

He watched the greed glimmer in her eyes.

“Its 36lacs for three months,’ He continued, “I’ll tell you what I round that and make it forty. 40lacs for three months’

He had thrown a bone before the greedy dog, greedy bitch he reminded himself.

“Oh, Advay,’ Indrani finally sighed with a grin that covered her wicked face. “You have made an offer impossible to refuse.’

“Okay,’ She let out a sigh “I agree, but on one condition.’

Advay nodded.

“You see we have a reputation to maintain. So, if anyone asks, you must tell them that you are our guest and that we have offered you a place to stay for free, owing to our hospitable nature.’

Advay chuckled to himself, forever the wicked witch.

“No worries Mrs Vashisht, I will tell people that Mrs Indrani Vashisht have been very kind and welcoming of me.’

Indrani broadened her shoulder pleased with his answer and smiled at him with her head held high. Two birds with one shot.

“So, you are going to pay me forty lacs in advance and in cash… Right’ She raised her brow “And your boy is going to cook and clean and tend to your demands. We don’t have a lot of servants around the house, you see. My daughters prefer doing the housework, and I wouldn’t want them to have to wait upon you.’

Advay glared at her, he knew exactly what she meant by daughters. So, Chandini was single-handedly managing the Haveli, fire coursed through his body. This was going to have to stop, he was going to have to end this.

Chandini walked in with a tray in her hand, as she knelt before Advay looking away from him. She just wanted him to leave.

Advay took the cup of tea and gazed at Chandini, as she walked back to take her place behind her mother.

“Hmm Mrs Vashisht,’ Advay continued to watch Chandini as she stood behind her mother, awaiting her next instruction. “Now that we have a deal, can I choose a room?’

Chandini jerked her head up to look at him wide eyed. She had missed the entire conversation and wasn’t sure what he was talking about.

“I am sure your daughter can help me with it,’ He smiled at Indrani, trying to sound as innocent and genuine as he could.

“Yes sure,’ Indrani turned around to look at Chandini.

“Chandini, this is Mr Advay Singh Raizada. He is here to work on the temple and we have decided to offer him a place to stay, here at the Haveli.’

“But Maa’ Chandini protested, only to bow her head the moment she felt Indrani’s cold glare. “Show him around Chandini and let him choose the room he wants.’

“I hope you enjoy your stay here Advay,’ Indrani smiled at him as he nodded his head, sipping on his tea.

“Chandini,’ Indrani got up from her sofa not bothering to look at her “Make sure you show him all the rooms, yours as well.’

She turned around and left.

Chandini stared after her mother, tears glistening in her eyes as she watched her mother walk away. She knew her mother was heartless, but to ask her to give her room away had to be the worst demand she had ever made of her.

“Ready,’ Advay smiled as he got up from his sofa.

Chandini looked away and blinked her eyes.

Advay flinched at the sight of the tears in her eyes. He frowned to himself, her tears bothered him. He couldn’t bear to see her cry, this was going to be a problem, a huge problem. He pressed his lips into a thin line, as he followed Chandini up the stairs.

He watched her from behind, it was an incredible view, her silky hair swished around her perfect bottom, her hips swayed in a way that made her look curvier than she was. She was graceful and alluring and he couldn’t take his eyes off her as she showed him room after room.

Chandini felt goose bumps all over her body under his intense gaze. She sighed. She just wanted him to choose a room and leave her alone, not sure how he had managed to convince her Maa to let him stay at the Haveli. They were finally at the final two rooms.

She turned the handle, and entered the first one.

Advay walked in, and for the first time took his eyes off her and looked around the room. Chandini watched him with frustration. The look in his eyes had told her he was in love with her room. She sighed, she didn’t want to hand her room to anyone.

“Is this your room?’ He smirked. She nodded her head.

He gazed down at her, took her hand and drew her against his chest.

“Don’t you like it?’ He leaned and whispered against her ears. “Is that why you are avoiding me?’

Chandini tried to step away from him, only for him put his hand around her waist and pull her closer.

“Don’t you like it? …. Hmmm Chandini,’ He whispered again, his voice smooth, seductive.

Chandini squirmed in his arms as she looked at him with narrowed eyes.

“I love this room, it is my room’

Advay chuckled to himself, of course she loved the room, it was his room. Dev’s room.

“I meant did you not like your last name, Mrs Advay Singh Raizada,’ He nuzzled against her ears, as she curled her toes, shivering under his warm touch.

“Even since you heard my name you sound unhappy. Were you expecting a different name? Were you hoping I was someone else?’

She shivered under his gaze, he never missed anything.

He watched her like a hawk, not sure what he wanted her to say.

Maybe she was hoping he was Dev’ His heart whispered.

“No …. I wasn’t hoping for anything,’ She replied as she looked ahead, towards the painting of lord Rudra before her… struggling to control her tears. She had hoped he was Dev. She had been a total fool, Dev was never coming back … not after what she had done.

Advay closed his eyes, chuckling to himself, what was he expecting?

He let out a sigh as he scanned the room, stepping away from her.

“Hmm… I love that you have a four-poster bed,’ He winked, running his hands against the antique teak bed, that was once his.

“Why is the bed so high?’ He frowned.

“It’s because,’ She whispered, “I like hiding under the bed sometimes. It feels safe.’

He laughed, a mischief twinkling in his eyes, as he touched the bed again. “I love the height, the fact that it reaches your waist. It’s going to be easy on my knees.’ She frowned. What was he talking about?

He opened the shelves of a cabinet in the corner next to the bed, and raised his brow. Chandini frowned to herself, annoyed at how he had decided to help himself to her room.

“Why do you have rope?’

“In the rainy season, we use it to hang clothes indoors.’

He nodded with a wicked smirk, “And clothes pin?’

“To hang clothes,’ She glared. What planet was he from? Why do people own clothes pin?

“Cane?’ He raised his brow in disbelief, “You own three canes.’

He chuckled, holding one of the canes in his hand and swishing it through the air. It was thin and long and was sure to make an impact.

“I use it to hang clothes, can’t reach high ropes.’

He nodded putting the cane back and touching the antique desk, that sat to one side.

“Hmm, yet again loving the height of the desk.’ He sighed, this room was fully stocked for his perverted ways.

“It was a taller desk, but we had to chop the legs to suit my height.’

Advay tilted his head, studying her under his cheeky grin. So, the room was custom designed to suit her height, how convenient.

He pulled the drawer under the desk, and let out a chuckle in disbelief.

“What on earth is it?’ He smirked, holding an antique door handle in his hand.

“It’s a door handle, its antique. I kept it.’

“What use is it to you?’

“Nothing, I just kept it, it’s antique and belongs to the house.’

Advay scanned through the drawer, there were five door knobs and handles in total. He looked away, trying to contain his muffled laughter. This room was a treasure trove for a man like him. Looked like he didn’t have to invest into anything. Maybe his Chandini was a closeted kink lover after all.

“What one’s your favourite?’ He asked.

“Hmm, the tear drop shaped one,’ She shrugged.

“This one,’ He picked a soft metallic, peach shaped door knob in his hand, ‘Why do you like it?’

“I don’t know, its soft, smooth and warm. Not sure what metal it’s made from. It feels comfortable against the skin….and I love the shape.’

“I see,’ He nodded, “Can I, have it?’

Chandini shot her eyes to him.

“What use is it to you?’

“Hmm …would like to keep it as a souvenir, from this Haveli.’ He gave her a genuine warm smile. “Which room is this from?’

“This room.’

Advay inspected the door knob in his hand, of course, it was from his room. Why hadn’t he realised it sooner. He let out a soft chuckle as he continued inspecting the room.

Chandini watched him under her suspicious gaze. He seemed to love the room… her room. She shrugged her shoulders. This was her safest haven, she just hoped he wouldn’t choose it.

He opened the door, that led to the terrace. The sounds of the temple bells, mingled with the gushing ganges and the smoky perfume of the burning wood from the Havan in the temple courtyard, hit his senses. He sighed. How he had missed this for the last sixteen years.

“Do you want this room?’ She finally let out a sigh, the sooner he was gone the better.

“It’s a beautiful room, I love it,’ He strolled up to her on slow feet and swept her hair away from her face. Tears pooled in her eyes. “But I won’t take it.’

Chandini looked up at him with disbelief, blinking her tears away.

Why didn’t he want the room if he liked it?

“Why not if you love it?’ She whispered not realising she had voiced her thought.

“Because I can see how much it upsets you to give up this room. I can see how much this room means to you.’ He put his hand from under the fold of her saree and pulled her closer, against him. She lowered her gaze a smile began to form at the corners of her mouth.

Advay looked away trying to fight the intense urge to kiss her perfect mouth.

“Did you make the tea?’ He asked her trying to steer the conversation.

She nodded, struggling to step out of his embrace, only to find herself trapped within his vice like grip.

“Stop struggling, you are no match to my strength,’ He chuckled.

“Waisey, just so you know’ He brushed his hot mouth against her ears, “I don’t drink tea. I hate tea.’

He smiled as he finished the tea in his cup.

“Its coffee, black no sugar’

She looked at him with disbelief as he licked the last drop of the tea from the cup.

“Why didn’t you tell me? Why did you drink it if you don’t like it?’

“Because you made it…… for me,’ He gazed into her eyes. “I’ll happily drink poison if you were to give to me… Chandini.’

Chandini looked away blushing to herself, unable to hold his intense gaze. Was it love? or was it lust? or was it a mix of both that shone in his eyes, she wasn’t sure.

“So…… this is your room?’ He chuckled again, as though unable to believe that she was living in his room. He let go of her and took a step towards her wardrobe.

Chandini leaned against the wall, with her arms hugging her waist, almost upset at the loss of his warmth wrapped around her.

He opened her closets and started rummaging through her stuff.

“Stop, what are you doing?’ Chandini almost yelled, as he started to mess her neatly arranged shelves.

“Going through your stuff… meri jaan,’ He said with his back to her, as he continued to look through her clothes.

“Why do you have a pair of handcuffs?’ He chuckled, holding up a metal handcuff in his hand, dangling from his fingers.

“It’s a part of a Police costume. Meghu did a play, she was a cop…so.’ She whispered, looking down at the floor. Why was he scanning her room if he didn’t want it?

“This handcuff can leave serious bruises,’ He sighed, “you are going to need to cover it in velvet, so it doesn’t cause permanent damage.’

“Sorry … Huh?’

“Never mind,’ He sighed, “Can I take the handcuff…I really love collecting handcuffs. It fascinates me.’

“Yeah sure.’

He rummaged through her wardrobe again, going though all her stuff, like it was his own.

“You are messing my shelves,’ She tried to push him away, but in vain. He was too strong.

“What’s this?’

Chandini shook at the sudden dip in his husky voice. He threw her a sideward glance, his eyes shining with mischief as he pulled out a red lacy underwear.

“I would have never expected a girl like you to own something like this.’ He chuckled as he turned around and swung it around his fingers.

Chandini glared at him, she felt her cheeks turn hot as embarrassment coursed through her body. There was a stranger in her bedroom, toying with her under garments.

She tried to take it from his hand only for him to hold his hand above his head, away from her reach as she stood on her toes.

He put his arms around her and pulled her close to him, chuckling to himself.

“Give it to me,’ She mewled, standing on her toes trying to reach his hand.

“Give it to me PLEASE,’ He hissed, as he put his hand further away from her.

“Give it to me please,’ She whispered, tears of embarrassment forming in her eyes.

“Where did you get it from?’ He raised his brow.

“Meghu got it, it was meant to be a joke.’

“Have you worn it?’ She shuddered at how deep and gritty his voice sounded. “Have you worn it?’

“Yes, a few times,’ She whispered as she looked away, not sure why she was answering his questions.

“Good…. I am keeping it.’

Chandini shot her eyes up to him, only to find him nuzzling against the tiny scrap of lace in his hand.

“No,’ She shrieked. What was the matter with him? She had never met anyone this indecent in her life.

Advay raised his brow at her.

“Okay,” He whispered “You can have it back.’

She put her hand out

“But under one condition.’

She looked up at him, breathing fire. Why did she have to bargain for something that belonged to her?

“You can have this back,’ He murmured against her ears “If you give me the one you are wearing right now.’

Chandini glared at him…. Horrified at his demand. No one had ever said anything like this to her. She didn’t know how to react. Whether to slap him or to blush or whether to comply with his demand.

Advay chuckled, at the confused looked on her face, his eyes twinkling with mischief. He was impressed she hadn’t slapped him, and impressed that she taking a moment to consider his demand.

“Is the one you are wearing similar to this?’ He asked, with a seductive grin.

“No.’ She whispered, heat coursing across her face.

“What colour is the one you are wearing?’

She glared at him. What sort of questions were these?

“I said what colour is the one you have on at the moment.’ He hissed in a low gritty voice, wrapping his hand around her waist and yanking her closer against his body. She shivered at the threat in his voice.

“Wh…White.’ She murmured.

“Is it lace?’

“No… co…cotton.’

“Why?’ He watched her with eyes like slits, as she trembled in his arms, straining her neck to hold his gaze. “Don’t you like the feel of lace against your delicate skin.’

“It’s …it’s comfortable.’

“What is?’ He leaned closer, his lips just a mere inch away from hers.

“Co…cotton,’ She licked her lips, lowering her gaze to his lips, drawing in the muskiness of his perfume that she was certain she was suffused with.

“You are going to have to get used to wearing lace, once you marry me.’ He smiled, tucking a hair behind her ears.

“Please give it back?’ She choked, tears of shame welling in her eyes.

“Then take off the one you are wearing now…I am going to need something Chandini.’

She trembled, what was she meant to do?

“So, what do want to do …. It is either this or that… Chandini,’ He whispered against her cheek. She closed her eyes and let out a gasp at the feel of his beard burning against her skin, igniting her body, setting her ablaze.

“Chandini.’

She jumped out of her skin, fear coursing through her and pushed him away at the sound of her mother’s voice.

“Chandini,’ Indrani called out again.

“Haan Maa, I am here,’ She stammered, trying to straighten herself as she watched Advay rolling the lace and shoving it in his pocket.

He strode out of the room and into the room next door, before Indrani caught him with Chandini.

Chandini shivered the moment her mother stepped into her room.

Had she seen her in Advay’s arms, she wondered as she heaved for breath.

“Kya hua,’ Indrani asked walking into her bedroom. “Has Advay chosen a room?’

“Oh, Mrs Vashisht.’

Indrani turned around to find Advay standing at the door.

“Yes, I am taking the room next door.’ He smiled.

“Oh,’ Indrani narrowed her eyes, “Are you sure? That is one of the smallest bedrooms we have.’

“Hmm the view from that room is breath taking,’ He replied as he admired Chandini from head to toe. “I also love the fact that it comes with its own private terrace.’

“Well Advay, the terrace is shared with Chandini’s bedroom…. Are you sure you don’t want Chandini’s bedroom, it is bigger and has better views?’

“No Mrs Vashisht,’ He shook his head, as Chandini bit her trembling lips, “I find Chandini’s bedroom too girly for my liking. Besides I am sure Chandini won’t mind sharing with me.’

He glanced at Chandini and then at her bed, with a wicked smirk curling at the corners of his mouth. Chandini gasped as his words dawned upon him. Sharing what? Why did he glance at the bed? Was he hinting at what she thought he was hinting at? She shuddered, at the courage he had, to hint at something so indecent in front of her mother.

“It’s up to you then Advay.’ Indrani let out a sigh.

“Oh, I thought you had some questions about the temple,’ Indrani looked him in the eye “And I also wanted to speak to you about our arrangement.’

“Yes, Mrs Vashisht, I haven’t forgotten. I will come see you once Murli is here and we can sort matters.’

Indrani smiled at him, impressed he was just as cryptic with his words as she was.

“I am going down to the temple to take a stroll, I’ll see you later.’

Advay smiled as he gazed at a trembling Chandini for one last time before stepping to the side, pretending to have left. He stood behind the door, listening to what Indrani had to tell Chandini.

“Chandini…,’ Advay flinched at the tone of Indrani’s voice, “PP and his mother are coming tomorrow.’

Chandini trembled at the mention of PP, he was coming tomorrow? Her fate had been sealed a few months ago, but she hadn’t realised that the impending doom was this close.

“You will be getting engaged to him by the end of this week and will be getting married by the end of this month.’ Indrani announced as she looked squarely into Chandini’s fear ridden eyes.

“I want you to behave yourself and I don’t want you to let me down. Do you understand?’ She hissed at a trembling Chandini, who nodded at her.

“Good’, Indrani went on ‘Chandini you know you are going to have to do this for this family and for your Baba… Right.’

Indrani put her hand on her daughter’s head, as Advay let out a frustrated chuckle. Chandini was innocent enough to not see through her mother’s games, but Advay knew the sly Indrani like the back of his hand.

He turned around and made his way down the stairs. So Chandini was spoken for. This was news to him… a rather annoying one.

“Murli,’ He said as he picked his phone and walked onto the temple courtyard. “Who the hell is PP?’

Author’s note

Wow! The third chapter. But I remember writing it all together along with the first two.

At that time I didn’t even know the journey would span over a year and a half, and that we would all end up here on my blog.

I am so humbled now to be re-reading this chapter all over again, and to be sharing it here with you.

Speaking of the chapter, its amazing how it has always been about her for him. Although he had been in a denial for so long, but he came back only for her, its obvious.

Hope you like it too, and do let me know what you think of it, now that we are into the New Dawn phase. HA!
